As to instill a vision of transformation to the development of maritime industry, Oceanic Engineering Sdn .Bhd, initiates the compelling needs by setting up shipbuilding / ship repair facilities in 1980 for the benefits of bringing improvement and productivity to the much needed vital growth of Sandakan.
In making the vision a realization and not bare fantasy, plans are being drawn up to transform the yard and facilities to a more efficient, better utilized and well managed, capable of handling the needs of modern construction and repair in the modern maritime technological arena. With its ships building / repair expertise and creative technological approach, it has pioneered innovation both locally / internationally with proven success / record, and has emerged as a leading potential / outstanding player in the shipbuilding / repair industry.
NEW CONSTRUCTION SITE
There are two (2) Construction Bays situated at the south eastern section of the subject lands, which are basically constructed of reinforced concrete with billian rails and metal beams.
Construction Bay (A)
has a total length of about 300 feet and width of about 70 feet
Construction Bay (B)
has a total length of about 250 feet and width of about 70 feet
